Palm Beach County Health Facilities Authority

Purpose

To issue tax exempt and other obligations to finance projects for not-for-profit health facilities located in Palm Beach County, Florida (and other jurisdictions by interlocal agreement).

Appointment

All five (5) members of the Authority are appointed by the Palm Beach County County Commission. The current members of the Authority and terms are as follows:

Gerald N. Robinson, M.D., term ends April 30, 2018.
James T. Howell, M.D., term ends April 30, 2019.
Tenna Wiles, term ends April 30, 2019.
Joan E. Roude, term ends April 30, 2016.
Carla S. Bryant, term ends April 30, 2017.

Palm Beach County, Florida. Service is issuing tax exempt and other obligations to finance projects of not-for-profit health facilities.

Taxes/Fees

The Authority has no taxing power. It presently levies application fees against applicants for its services according to an established fee schedule.

Code of Ethics

The Authority has not established a code of ethics but members abide by the Palm Beach County ethics ordinances and complete required ethics' training as required by law.
